JayJay

I was gawking. True…I’ve been to slumber parties and all…but never shall I ever go to one quite like this. I was pretty sure of what was going on in Jonathan’s head. And Tom’s. And Stephanie’s. And I have no idea what was going in Jenny’s head when we said that. Oi. This was going to be a night. In this huge mansion, the three guest rooms we were going to sleep in, was suspiciously blown up…and then Jenny spoke of her wonderful idea. It’s a catastrophe in the making.

But why did the room’s have to be blown up? Something…wanted us to sleep or…”sleep” in that room together. I gave Daniel the you-know-what-I’m-thinking look, and he returned with a i-know-what-you’re-thinking-and-we-should-totally-do-it. I thought for a moment on whether or not someone would have a wrong idea, but hopefully no one would be able to read my thoughts. I returned his i-know-what-you’re-thinking-and-we-should-totally-do-it look with a okay-we-meet-in-the-kitchen-at-23hours look. Then we both looked at the group with a let’s-do-it look. I seriously hoped no one could read my thoughts. It would ruin my entire plan.
Stephanie glanced over at us, but her stress levels were seriously too high to deal with me and Daniel’s looks of…oddness. She finally thought for a moment…and spoke.
“Okay. Slumber party it is. Three rules. Tom sleeps in his room. Daniel and Aaron sleep in the corner of the room. Jonathan sleeps outside of the room. The rest of us…will sleep in the remaining 98% of the room.”

At this plan…me and Daniel exchanged looks again. I gave him the…okay-change-of-plans-look-,-we-meet-in-the-kitchen-as-soon-as-this-is-done look. He merely replied with a –okay- look. He thought for a moment, and gave me another look. I-sincerely-hope-no-one-can-read-our-looks look. Unfortunately, someone did. I just didn’t notice him at the time. Tom glanced our way, but immediately focused on Stephanie. Unfortunately, he read our looks well. He knew too much.

Emily broke the silence. “Slummmmmmbaaaaah Parttttteeeeh!”
