Emily

I wake up just realizing that I had dozed off in the chair. I stretch my legs and decide to explore this vast library. After a while or walking around aimlessly I realize two things; it is no wonder that Stephanie is so smart with this many books surrounding her, and secondly, I was lost. This was not an uncommon situation for me anymore because of many occasions that we ... did stupid things and ended up in stupid places. Unfortunately, the shelves were of towering height and there was no glowing neon exit signs anywhere.
At this point I wondered where the rest of the crew went to spend their day. I had a feeling that they were getting themselves in trouble, as always.
"Well at least there isn't about to be anyone (female, Asian and named Krissy)jumping out from behind a bookcase to attack me."
I closed my eyes and braced for the usual irony of the statement to hit me but when nothing happened I continued walking down row after row and nothing really seemed to change.
"Now this is boring."
I kinda miss the loud rambunctious laughter that usually accompanied this kind of situation.
All of a sudden, a gold braided rope dropped in front of me, suspended at the ceiling. A simple note was attached to it.
"Pull or not to pull"

I really really hoped we’d find a secret cave of wonders with treasure and everything, just no ebil-ness. I was actually pretty sure that everyone knew I was thinking that. So I decided to think of something else. It was hard though, because Jenny swam in front of me, and whenever she was distracted…her flippers would slap my face. And because we swam in a single-file line, whenever Jenny’s flippers slapped my face, I’d slow down…and Daniel would totally head-butt my flippers. Which caused me to swim a little faster…and then head-butt Jenny’s flippers. It was an everlasting cycle of annoyance, which seriously ticked me off.

But on a lighter note, as we continued swimming…the tile slowly became jagged rocks and the pool water became fresh water. How did I know it was fresh water? Because once when Daniel head-butted me…my mask came loose…and I had to drink the water in order to breathe again. Boy would he get it once we got on land.

We continued to swim for gosh knows how long…but we were pretty tired. And then we reached the end of the tunnel. Light flooded our senses as we swam out of the tunnel, one by one. We were in an underwater freshwater oasis. Life was teeming everywhere, and as everyone was paying attention to the glorious scenery…I had just laid my eyes on the biggest darn pearl I’d ever seen.

Meanwhile, everyone else had decided to spend the day by Stephanie's pool. It was an enormous pool, and was designed with a Greek-like touch. I gazed in awe at the great pillars spaced out around the pool which seemed to stretch on and on. Half-submerged steps led into the pool, disappearing into it's depths. As I peered into the pool, I realized that I could not see the bottom.

"Uhhh..." I asked, not turning away from the deep pool. "How deep is this pool, exactly?"

"Not too sure, actually. I never did try to go all the way to the bottom." We all turned to stare at Stephanie in disbelief. What was this?? She had her own ocean in her backyard! "Well," she continued with a lofty air about her, "do you want me to get some scuba equipment? We could explore the pool."

Minutes later, we all stood geared up on one of the steps leading to the pool. We were standing waist-deep on the stairs. "Ready?" Jenny asked everyone. We all nodded and put our goggles on. I left the stairs and floated deeper into the pool. Then, I submerged my head under the water. We swam deeper down for a good half hour until we reached the tiled bottom of the pool.

"How deep was that? It was like more than 100m!" I exclaimed through the speaking devices installed in our scuba gear.

"Hey look!" JayJay pointed out. "There's a secret tunnel under this tile!" Indeed, she had lifted up a tile from the floor of Stephanie's pool.

"How do you see this stuff?" Jonathan muttered as they swam one after another through the narrow passage way. I was last, claustrophobic and not wanting to enter some small tunnel deep under water. Resigning, I dived deeper into the passage, switching on the light on our suits, lighting my way through the darkness into the unknown.

The strange silence was unsettling for me. Usually we are NEVER this quiet, especially when there are situations involving a member from each of the opposite sex. But alas things returned to normal when Krissy suddenly picked him up with sudden scary strength and throw him across the room. This time there was silence once again but it was a shocked one. Then the chaos of sudden outbursts begins at exactly 0.6 seconds after the audible thud.
"Wow ... do that again!"
"Anger management much?"
"What was that for?"
"So unbecoming of a woman."
"Was that really necessary?"
"OMG"
"..."
etc.
Krissy's response?
"Meh"

After eating a breakfast consisting of eggs, sausages, bacon, bagels and milk I snuck out of the kitchen and went to search for a place to read ... Merchant of Venice.

After some aimless wandering around the house, I managed to find a comfortable enough place, semi secluded area with a single large reading chair cleverly placed next to an extremely large window which gave a brilliant view of the morning sun.I began reading, but knowing me and knowing that I can't concentrate on Shakespeare and interpret it early in the morning, my mind began to drift.

The imagination is the ultimate form of transportation, you can cross endless bodies of water within seconds and be exactly where you want to be. I picture the one I want to picture. The one that I want to stay by. Reminiscing the little stupid things that we have done. The harmony of our voices melding together as we sing quietly to each other.
"I wanna sing for you my friend."
But are my feelings for you just friendly? Is growing jealous of the person who is not me dancing with you classified as friendly? If it is not friendly then what is this feeling?
"I wanna sing for you with all my heart."
I remember growing embarrassed every time you lock eyes with me when we sing.
"I wanna sing for you my dream."
I want to be with you right here right now, but it can never happen. You are in another continent while I am here. I can only dream of being with you.
"I wanna sing for you my ..."
Is that my fate?

This morning just couldn’t get any better. Hyperness first thing in the morning. I groggily got up, and looked around. Man, did my head hurt or what. The most likely cause would be…me drinking…and forgetting that I was drunk…and me continuing to drink.

My first impression of the scene before me was simply that it was an average day. Emily getting crushed by a girl-monster, while we were just sitting there, or in the guy’s case, standing there. I spotted Daniel, and gave him the ‘it’s-just-another-day-look’. He nodded, and we surveyed the scene before us.
I got up, and since the silence was deafening me, I yelled, “WHO WANTS VODKA AND CEREAL?!” I saw Daniel smirk from the corner of my eye, while everyone just sighed.

Out of the other corner of my eye, I saw Tom walk towards Stephanie, and he sat on her bed beside her. Since no one really replied to me, we were all focused on Stephanie and Tom. He scooted closer to her, and spoke, “Good morning my darling, how are you this fine morning?” and as he spoke, he put his hand on Stephanie’s hands. The silence deafened even more. One could almost HEAR Jonathan’s jealousy and anger.
The silence was totally awkward. So I saw Krissy do something about it. She picked him up and threw him across the room.

Emily

"Wake up!!"
"Waaaahh!!" and I hit something really hard with my forehead as I quickly sat up. I look around and find that the sun beams were peaking through the curtains and the birds and what not were chirping their little heads off. How disgustingly cliche can this morning get.
"Riiise and shine sleepy heads!"
... and if I hadn't already sustained damage to my forehead I would palm face myself in shame.
Jenny was up and about really early this morning apparently as she was bustling about waking up the others who seemed to be knocked out cold from the reunion (JayJay) around me. Which suddenly makes me wonder why she isn't the one who is moaning in pain. Acutally, second thought, who IS the one moaning like a wounded animal so early this morning. Lets take a guess, there are like 5 girls in this room, one of them being me, if Jenny isn't the one who I just butted heads with and Jay Jay is too far to be the culprit then that leaves ...
I quickly glance at the far corner and find that the creepy beast was still safely barracaded.
"You APE!!!"
A sudden vaguely pink and frilly thing was seen being launched at me from the corner of my eye but me being too full of sleep was too slow to react to the incoming missile.
"Nuooooeeee, Emily my looove!!! (this line is actually part of the 10% non fiction)"
So do you wanna hear the good news or the bad? Well the good news was that I didn't get hit by the pillow. The bad news was that Krissy had practically tackled me to the leg of Stephanie's bed. Oh how I can feel the bruise coming.
Suddenly the door burst open and all the guys came tumbling into the room in various states of dress (eg: pjs, t-shirts + shorts/ jeans, and in Tommy's case, a bathrobe).
Oh, but on the bright side, my morning can't get worse... right?
